We had some issues with the readout mode the observer wanted to use, even using UR single amp mode. They eventually used quad mode. About 20 mins lost due to the problems (saturated images) we were having and figuring out what mode would work best to resolve the problem. ARCTIC hung when my observer stopped their exposure at the end of the night. StartNubs fixed the issue. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CU01 ARCTIC I/H 01:30 01:50 Issues with using single amp mode. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:04 arctic 360( 1323) 95 55 16.3 18.3 18.4 17.8 16.5 BG40 1.80 01:26 ur_arctic 435( 1250) -95 60 15.3 14.7 15.2 14.7 14.8 Semrock 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 71 51 11 204 (SSW) 760 mstly cldy none 17:00 67 49 1 175 (S) 669 mstly cldy none 18:00 68 47 9 148 (SSE) 434 mstly cldy none 19:00 65 48 10 124 (SE) 458 mstly cldy none 20:00 63 49 13 117 (ESE) 557 ptly cldy none 21:00 62 48 19 113 (ESE) 643 clear none 22:00 61 48 17 113 (ESE) 671 clear none 23:00 60 48 13 107 (ESE) 823 mstly clr none 00:00 60 48 14 122 (ESE) 850 mstly clr none 01:00 59 49 11 119 (ESE) 847 mstly clr none 02:00 58 50 9 116 (ESE) ptly cldy none 03:00 60 50 6 116 (ESE) ptly cldy none 04:00 57 51 13 134 (SE) ptly cldy none 05:00 57 52 10 144 (SE) ptly cldy none 06:00 57 51 8 188 (S) ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
