The telescope moved unexpectedly between kcam images 889 - 893 at 2026-09-07 07:34:20UT. Further details were sent to the engineering staff. My TUI disconnected at 09:07UT. My observers TUI did not disconnect. I was able to quickly log back in with no issues. KOSMOS disperser hung moving (red to blue) at the end of the night. The instrument was in the upright position, 0 rotation. Fixed by manually moving wheel after the APOLLO run and then following the wiki instructions on wiki. I tested the disperser moved properly between red/blue while in the dome then let my observers finish their cals. Both Torrie and Harry's TUI crashed at the end of the APOLLO run. My TUI did not crash. KOSMOS afternoon fill seemed longer than usual, the morning fill seemed to fill in the normal amount of time. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:31 klow 335( 1238) 92 60 16.1 17.1 17.5 16.6 16.1 -- 1.12 02:46 kosmos 360( 1151) 32 55 14.7 14.6 15.3 14.4 15.0 -- 1.02 05:45 APOLLO 360( 1898) 77 48 15.5 14.3 15.1 14.3 14.7 -- 0.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 65 30 9 117 (ESE) 1268 cloudy none 17:00 65 30 14 120 (ESE) 930 cloudy none 18:00 65 30 10 113 (ESE) 1236 cloudy none 19:00 64 30 9 91 (E) 1313 cloudy none 20:00 63 30 12 87 (E) 1211 mstly cldy none 21:00 62 29 15 107 (ESE) 1152 clear none 22:00 61 28 15 103 (ESE) 1235 mstly clr none 23:00 59 28 13 89 (E) 1151 mstly clr none 00:00 61 28 8 87 (E) 1276 clear none 01:00 59 29 8 90 (E) 1162 clear none 02:00 59 28 6 78 (ENE) 1172 clear none 03:00 59 28 6 349 (N) 1291 clear none 04:00 60 28 3 349 (N) 1274 mstly clr none 05:00 61 28 2 282 (WNW) 1242 ptly cldy none 06:00 60 28 0 71 (ENE) 1281 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
