Once nearby radar subsided we opened at 22:21. Closed for dust >4000 cts at 23:10, and reopened at 23:51 after the counts went back down. Remained open the rest of the night. Fixed the saturated UL quad on ARCTIC, raised the LakeShore temp up to 202K, then lowered back down to 182K after the UL quad was back to normal. LL quad in quad mode and LL single read mode are still saturated. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:43 klow 748( 1564) 242 26 19.3 18.9 20.4 18.5 18.6 -- 1.90 01:19 ecamera 252( 173) 290 63 17.6 17.5 18.3 17.2 17.2 -- 0.95 05:15 APOLLO 302( 1915) 83 42 17.2 15.7 16.3 15.4 15.4 -- 1.70 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 76 44 4 256 (WSW) 1910 cloudy none 17:00 71 44 12 147 (SSE) 2474 cloudy none 18:00 69 43 1 53 (NE) 2685 cloudy lt rain 19:00 61 46 9 16 (NNE) 2436 ptly cldy rain 20:00 64 37 8 181 (S) 672 ptly cldy none 21:00 67 39 12 113 (ESE) 2101 mstly clr none 22:00 65 45 6 97 (E) 3805 mstly clr none 23:00 66 46 15 139 (SE) 4047 mstly clr dust 00:00 65 45 10 157 (SSE) 3546 ptly cldy none 01:00 64 45 4 159 (SSE) 3644 clear none 02:00 64 44 11 183 (S) 3322 clear none 03:00 64 44 4 207 (SSW) 3026 clear none 04:00 62 43 6 285 (WNW) 2788 clear none 05:00 59 43 8 3 (N) 2725 clear none 06:00 62 44 7 340 (NNW) 3681 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
