We were only able to stay open for a few hours before clouds and radar came back in. Despite high hopes we didn't get on sky during B-half, we gave up around 05:00. I had to thump the ThAr power supply at checkout again today, and echelle exposures continue to show read noise. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:53 kosmos 370( 1471) 82 28 19.9 20.8 21.8 20.3 19.8 -- 1.75 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 78 38 6 240 (WSW) 2312 ptly cldy none 17:00 73 39 5 158 (SSE) 2235 ptly cldy lt rain 18:00 72 39 22 150 (SSE) 1886 ptly cldy none 19:00 72 37 11 113 (ESE) 1576 ptly cldy none 20:00 70 38 9 101 (E) 2120 clear none 21:00 68 38 12 111 (ESE) 2348 clear none 22:00 68 35 15 107 (ESE) 2304 clear none 23:00 67 30 8 99 (E) 2696 mstly clr none 00:00 66 30 12 114 (ESE) 2413 ptly cldy none 01:00 69 31 11 109 (ESE) 2395 ptly cldy none 02:00 69 33 8 116 (ESE) 2372 mstly cldy none 03:00 68 31 3 111 (ESE) 2085 mstly cldy none 04:00 66 33 13 136 (SE) 2037 mstly cldy none 05:00 65 33 10 113 (ESE) 1809 mstly cldy none 06:00 65 31 11 152 (SSE) 1451 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
