Be sure to do a fake slew first so the mirrors update. First blue IOL image did not reduce correctly (IOL -6226). The red IOL was fine. I took another blue image. 2nd image reduced to IOL of 36. No problem switching from KOSMOS to midway to Echelle this morning. I took the Echelle IOL just before the UW07 program. The numbers for both the Red and Blue were higher than expected. Red around 39 and Blue around 79. I did not write themm to the database. If I have time at the end of the night I will take another set but UW07 may be doing cals in the morning. I took another set of IOL at the end of the night after Leslie was finished. The blue IOL looked "normal" at around 35 but the red IOL was now around 50, better than the prevous one at 79 but not where it was at the start of the night around the "normal" 18. I took another red image, but I don't know what is going on and did not send any of these to the database, except for the ones at the start of the night. The final red image had an IOL now of 19. I don't know if that is true or not since nothing changed betwenn the previous one except time. No telescope issue tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:05 tcamera 399( 1596) 12 56 18.3 17.9 18.2 17.9 18.2 Ks 0.93 01:30 kosmos 324( 1260) 293 81 18.3 17.0 17.7 16.9 17.7 empty 0.74 03:54 ecamera 345( 296) -97 51 18.3 17.1 17.8 16.9 17.5 ND1 0.81 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 32 15 63 (ENE) 1002 mstly cldy none 17:00 64 32 14 82 (E) 1368 mstly cldy none 18:00 67 32 11 87 (E) 2196 mstly cldy none 19:00 66 32 8 97 (E) 2190 ptly cldy none 20:00 65 32 10 87 (E) 2028 ptly cldy none 21:00 66 31 11 87 (E) mstly clr none 22:00 64 30 14 79 (E) mstly clr none 23:00 63 31 14 79 (E) ptly cldy none 00:00 64 31 6 95 (E) ptly cldy none 01:00 65 31 6 100 (E) mstly clr none 02:00 65 31 6 84 (E) mstly clr none 03:00 65 32 9 74 (ENE) mstly clr none 04:00 64 31 9 89 (E) clear none 05:00 65 32 7 90 (E) clear none 06:00 64 32 9 112 (ESE) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
