Found a big enough gap in the clouds to open for at 03:30, but of course a cloud formed right on top of us right after waking up the observer and focusing. Managed to get two 20s science frames out. No telescope or instrument issues to report. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:45 arctic 415( 1242) 283 38 13.7 15.1 17.9 14.8 13.8 CU-VR 1.14 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 74 46 20 203 (SSW) 1445 ptly cldy none 17:00 72 45 19 201 (SSW) 1536 mstly cldy none 18:00 65 44 20 219 (SW) 1080 cloudy none 19:00 65 47 14 197 (SSW) 1449 cloudy none 20:00 63 47 14 205 (SSW) 1466 cloudy none 21:00 62 47 14 203 (SSW) 1349 cloudy none 22:00 62 47 18 222 (SW) 2027 cloudy none 23:00 61 49 9 262 (W) 1228 mstly cldy none 00:00 60 49 9 266 (W) 1206 mstly cldy none 01:00 58 50 11 266 (W) mstly cldy none 02:00 58 50 8 264 (W) mstly cldy none 03:00 57 49 10 267 (W) ptly cldy none 04:00 57 50 10 244 (WSW) cloudy none 05:00 54 51 26 200 (SSW) cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
