Tonight the quad was near saturation across the whole LL quad. Counts in the LL quad were ~65300 cts vs. ~270 cts in the other three quads. Not sure this is actual new behavior or not. It did seem uniform. The past few nights it was not saturated during checkout but on UT260703 it was nearly saturated, so maybe this is normal (bad) behavior. I closed at 23:45 due to a storm to our N/NW that was getting a little too uncomfortably close. We re-opened at 04:20 No telescope issues tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:35 ecamera 610( 761) 73 41 19.4 21.9 21.3 22.8 19.8 ND3 1.19 21:55 ecamera 716( 690) 54 52 18.0 18.5 19.1 18.0 17.9 ND2 1.30 04:26 ecamera 516( 353) -69 81 16.8 15.9 16.3 15.8 16.1 clear 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 73 41 8 216 (SW) 1390 ptly cldy none 17:00 72 41 12 185 (S) 1395 ptly cldy none 18:00 75 40 9 262 (W) 1439 ptly cldy none 19:00 72 40 9 244 (WSW) 1403 ptly cldy none 20:00 69 41 2 191 (S) 1301 mstly clr none 21:00 66 38 16 146 (SE) 862 ptly cldy none 22:00 64 35 18 144 (SE) 817 ptly cldy none 23:00 63 35 12 147 (SSE) 762 ptly cldy none 00:00 63 36 1 149 (SSE) 761 mstly cldy none 01:00 63 38 10 15 (NNE) 992 cloudy none 02:00 60 41 11 82 (E) 1123 cloudy none 03:00 62 38 4 186 (S) 1050 cloudy none 04:00 63 37 5 210 (SSW) 838 ptly cldy none 05:00 62 39 8 185 (S) 762 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
