ARCSAT had two instances of the file selection window for the flats directory mysteriously opening when none of the people connected had been involved in taking flats at the start of the night. But all I had to do was cancel the file selection dialog and it recovered immediately with no further intervention. I didn't have any targets for satellite or lunar ranging at the start of the APOLLO time window, so I donated 15 extra minutes to the preceding program. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:14 ecamera 528( 341) -42 53 13.6 15.1 14.9 14.3 13.5 ND3 1.02 01:18 khigh 485( 1142) 16 67 12.6 11.9 12.8 11.9 12.4 - 0.65 03:31 APOLLO 400( 1806) 123 52 11.8 11.1 11.7 10.7 11.4 530 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 18 21 270 (W) 1871 ptly cldy none 17:00 59 14 25 270 (W) 2267 ptly cldy none 18:00 57 14 30 266 (W) 2362 mstly clr none 19:00 55 13 24 259 (W) 2590 mstly clr none 20:00 53 14 27 253 (WSW) 1914 clear none 21:00 52 14 25 269 (W) 1433 clear none 22:00 51 16 16 262 (W) 1482 mstly clr none 23:00 50 12 11 269 (W) 1476 mstly clr none 00:00 50 11 19 270 (W) 1520 clear none 01:00 49 11 10 271 (W) 1543 clear none 02:00 49 13 15 289 (WNW) 1840 clear none 03:00 48 13 15 290 (WNW) 2033 clear none 04:00 47 15 18 296 (WNW) 2083 clear none 05:00 46 18 22 307 (NW) 2411 clear none 06:00 45 19 19 295 (WNW) 2009 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
