Counts went down and was able to open for most of B-half. Corrected pointing of Arcsat post-zenithing. Echelle still taking a very long time for fill sequences, but at least it's not draining LN2 from the nurse tank continually. Otherwise instruments and telescope all well behaved tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:54 kosmos 226( 995) 112 21 13.4 13.5 15.6 13.1 12.8 -- 1.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 28 24 263 (W) 1122 cloudy none 17:00 62 29 14 231 (SW) 1105 cloudy none 18:00 62 29 24 216 (SW) 1644 cloudy none 19:00 62 30 16 216 (SW) 1191 mstly cldy none 20:00 58 29 23 239 (WSW) 932 mstly clr none 21:00 57 29 21 246 (WSW) 2183 clear none 22:00 57 29 20 264 (W) 2191 clear none 23:00 57 28 17 263 (W) 1107 clear none 00:00 57 28 11 270 (W) 765 clear none 01:00 56 28 12 264 (W) 774 clear none 02:00 56 27 15 302 (WNW) 814 clear none 03:00 55 27 16 275 (W) 670 clear none 04:00 54 28 14 319 (NW) 649 clear none 05:00 54 28 14 326 (NW) 685 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
