We had annoying high clouds the entire night, contrary to forecast. They were thick in the middle of the evening, thinned out toward midnight, then thickened again a few hours later. The second half observer was unable to get anything useful after 3:10, then gave up when there wasn't enough time to observe one target before twilight started. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:10 ecamera 616( 323) 80 55 11.2 12.8 12.9 12.4 11.2 ND3 1.23 01:23 kosmos 525( 1057) -28 57 9.4 9.1 9.8 9.1 9.3 - 1.12 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 18 21 270 (W) 1871 ptly cldy none 17:00 59 14 25 270 (W) 2267 ptly cldy none 18:00 57 14 30 266 (W) 2362 mstly clr none 19:00 55 13 24 259 (W) 2590 mstly clr none 20:00 53 14 27 253 (WSW) 1914 ptly cldy none 21:00 52 14 25 269 (W) 1433 mstly cldy none 22:00 51 16 16 262 (W) 1482 mstly cldy none 23:00 50 12 11 269 (W) 1476 ptly cldy none 00:00 50 11 19 270 (W) 1520 ptly cldy none 01:00 49 11 10 271 (W) 1543 ptly cldy none 02:00 49 13 15 289 (WNW) 1840 mstly cldy none 03:00 48 13 15 290 (WNW) 2033 mstly cldy none 04:00 47 15 18 296 (WNW) 2083 mstly cldy none 05:00 46 18 22 307 (NW) 2411 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
