Not echelle checkout image or afternoon iol because Gordon was running a script. I think morning iol is on the new echelle icc. Had to restart arctic filter wheel at start of A-half. Dust high at start of night, it calmed down enough to open after sunset. Dust rose over the closure limit just as we were about to get on sky for GS01, and I had to close. Opened at 02:15 after dust came down enough to do so. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:52 arctic 646( 1120) 70 27 4.0 5.1 4.9 5.2 3.9 SDSS_i 1.84 21:36 arctic 516( 906) 47 46 5.0 3.8 4.1 3.8 4.4 SDSS_u 1.91 02:31 khigh 566( 757) 208 73 4.7 2.1 3.6 3.4 4.4 -- 0.98 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 12 5 326 (NW) 2247 ptly cldy dust 17:00 39 12 20 326 (NW) 5978 ptly cldy dust 18:00 40 13 6 336 (NNW) 5595 ptly cldy dust 19:00 39 13 2 266 (W) 4013 mstly clr dust 20:00 39 13 8 347 (NNW) 2669 clear none 21:00 39 13 12 11 (N) 2347 clear none 22:00 41 14 14 16 (NNE) 1384 clear none 23:00 40 14 14 6 (N) 1262 mstly clr none 00:00 38 12 5 353 (N) 2449 mstly clr none 01:00 38 13 11 334 (NNW) 3846 clear dust 02:00 40 14 7 15 (NNE) 3340 clear none 03:00 41 16 11 3 (N) 1754 clear none 04:00 41 15 10 2 (N) 3002 clear none 05:00 40 16 11 358 (N) 2191 clear none 06:00 40 17 7 349 (N) 1368 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
