Scattered clouds throughout the night with no downtime. BY05 finished slightly early and donated remaining time to UW04. We took some test biases and darks of KOSMOS and also tested some simple failure modes and recovery procedures. We could not train on the most complicated recovery procedure (torrent server restart) because of a malfunctioning KVM in the computer room. PR submitted for this issue. Restarted Dataq at start of shift. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:08 APOLLO 375( 1642) 78 75 4.2 8.4 7.1 8.5 4.9 530 1.10 19:34 tcamera 383( 1054) -141 46 4.8 6.6 6.3 6.0 4.8 Ks 0.92 00:03 ecamera 393( -265) 109 37 5.9 4.8 5.5 4.5 5.7 clear 1.91 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 44 10 6 262 (W) 1213 mstly clr none 17:00 45 11 1 213 (SSW) 1223 mstly clr none 18:00 40 11 1 228 (SW) 1258 mstly clr none 19:00 43 2 3 251 (WSW) 752 mstly clr none 20:00 40 9 2 235 (SW) 1309 ptly cldy none 21:00 43 -3 3 42 (NE) 742 ptly cldy none 22:00 44 -5 5 339 (NNW) 329 clear none 23:00 44 -6 2 232 (SW) 369 clear none 00:00 43 -7 2 210 (SSW) 292 mstly clr none 01:00 42 -8 5 214 (SW) 322 mstly clr none 02:00 40 5 7 237 (WSW) 1358 mstly clr none 03:00 41 6 4 266 (W) 1171 mstly clr none 04:00 43 3 13 315 (NW) 799 mstly clr none 05:00 45 -1 14 302 (WNW) 581 mstly clr none 06:00 45 5 16 300 (WNW) 806 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
