Cary will not be in due to jury duty. Speaking of arcsat, see PR2278. NM06 took NM02's scheduled time for A-half. Some questionable looking clouds kept us closed at the start of the night. But around 19:20 they cleared up and we had nice clear skies. Restarted dataq around 3:15am. We did eyepiece for a little while tonight and got some really cool views of Jupiter, Whirlpool Galaxy, and Orion's nebula :D Space is really cool. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:28 ecamera 334( -275) -7 33 4.2 5.8 6.2 5.9 4.2 ND2 1.19 01:26 klow 500( 779) 106 62 4.1 3.8 4.5 3.9 4.1 -- 0.92 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 25 16 213 (SSW) 160 ptly cldy none 17:00 43 27 2 199 (SSW) 197 ptly cldy none 18:00 40 25 11 169 (S) 190 ptly cldy none 19:00 39 27 11 161 (SSE) 246 mstly clr none 20:00 40 18 14 175 (S) 254 mstly clr none 21:00 44 3 19 207 (SSW) 178 clear none 22:00 40 18 16 187 (S) 235 clear none 23:00 40 21 13 193 (SSW) 290 clear none 00:00 40 20 8 185 (S) 386 clear none 01:00 41 20 17 232 (SW) 408 clear none 02:00 41 22 13 259 (W) 429 clear none 03:00 43 13 3 234 (SW) 325 clear none 04:00 42 17 4 261 (W) 344 clear none 05:00 43 15 9 240 (WSW) 350 clear none 06:00 41 20 8 263 (W) 358 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
