Humidity slowly increased throughout the night, eventually forcing a dome closure at 02:40. Humidity stayed high, and clouds increased through to the end of the night so no chance to reopen. BYU class was trained on ARCTIC, managed to get a full half night of observations in. ARCSAT had a library support error, fixed by restarting the software. Dataq had to be restarted twice. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:22 arctic 434( 994) 264 46 5.8 7.4 7.2 7.8 5.7 SDSS-r 1.06 18:27 NA2gdr 36830(36830) 263 45 5.8 7.3 7.2 7.7 5.8 Clear 1.32 00:21 ecamera 491( -179) 71 44 5.3 4.6 5.3 4.8 4.9 ND3 0.84 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 32 13 260 (W) 591 mstly clr none 17:00 44 34 11 196 (SSW) 610 mstly clr none 18:00 42 34 7 205 (SSW) mstly clr none 19:00 41 33 12 225 (SW) mstly clr none 20:00 42 34 12 215 (SW) ptly cldy none 21:00 42 34 14 223 (SW) mstly clr none 22:00 42 34 12 219 (SW) mstly clr none 23:00 42 35 12 223 (SW) mstly clr none 00:00 42 35 10 258 (WSW) mstly clr none 01:00 41 35 9 223 (SW) mstly clr none 02:00 41 35 5 199 (SSW) mstly clr none 03:00 39 36 10 198 (SSW) mstly clr none 04:00 40 32 11 225 (SW) mstly cldy none 05:00 39 32 13 209 (SSW) mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
