Had a brief window to open at the start of the night before a thunderstorm rolled by. Radar returns lingered around until we had another window around 0345 before needing to close again for humidity and nearby rain. Had a few power flickers around the storm, and internet became flaky, UV03 got disconnected from TUI and DSSI but was able to recover. Restarted APOLLO GPS clock. Also Alcor restarted on each flicker. Network issues kept happening through the night, with observer noting that it seemed to be an APO issue rather than local. Dome leak spotted again near Echelle dewar. NA2 rotator zeroed at end of night, offset -0.009 ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:50 dssi 575( 1495) 115 71 9.9 13.2 12.4 13.1 11.2 692nm 0.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 43 6 260 (W) 130 mstly cldy none 17:00 56 44 7 223 (SW) 190 ptly cldy none 18:00 53 45 4 203 (SSW) ptly cldy none 19:00 49 44 4 171 (S) clear none 20:00 50 45 2 197 (SSW) clear humid 21:00 50 45 9 173 (S) cloudy rain 22:00 45 45 10 289 (WNW) cloudy rain 23:00 43 43 8 295 (WNW) cloudy none 00:00 43 38 9 260 (W) cloudy none 01:00 47 39 10 218 (SW) cloudy humid 02:00 48 39 7 197 (SSW) cloudy humid 03:00 48 40 9 188 (S) mstly clr humid 04:00 51 44 19 184 (S) mstly clr none 05:00 47 43 20 155 (SSE) mstly clr humid 06:00 47 45 22 144 (SE) mstly clr humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
