The lightning arrestors also had a good coating of ice as well as our roof cams (which meant I had to physically climb the latter to access the roof hatch to do a visual. I called the night due to weather at sunset. Light snow around midnight and by 3AM we had about two inches of fresh powder. I was going to park the enclosure facing South but it look like they are staged to bring up LN2 to the observing level this morning. I did morning fills for all instruments. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 28 28 23 238 (WSW) cloudy humid 17:00 27 27 26 232 (SW) cloudy humid 18:00 26 26 23 243 (WSW) cloudy humid 19:00 26 26 22 249 (WSW) cloudy humid 20:00 27 26 25 234 (SW) cloudy humid 21:00 26 26 29 239 (WSW) cloudy humid 22:00 26 25 27 259 (W) cloudy humid 23:00 25 25 18 237 (WSW) cloudy lt snow 00:00 26 26 25 255 (WSW) cloudy lt snow 01:00 23 23 19 266 (W) cloudy lt snow 02:00 22 20 16 250 (WSW) cloudy lt snow 03:00 21 20 16 224 (SW) cloudy lt snow 04:00 18 16 16 241 (WSW) cloudy lt snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
