There was also some blowing snow in the area which would have been a concern even if the other factors had been better. I left the telescope facing east since the cameras showed the right side of the dome still has more snow than the left. I did morning fills and exercised the APOLLO systems to warm and check them. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 32 1 16 10 (N) 1101 clear none 17:00 31 -4 16 14 (NNE) 2318 clear none 18:00 31 -11 22 356 (N) 467 clear none 19:00 32 -13 24 351 (N) 480 clear none 20:00 29 -12 21 18 (NNE) 390 clear none 21:00 30 -11 14 354 (N) 414 clear none 22:00 30 -8 17 9 (N) 461 clear none 23:00 32 -6 8 23 (NNE) 469 mstly clr none 00:00 31 -4 8 342 (NNW) 516 mstly clr none 01:00 32 -5 18 24 (NNE) 526 mstly clr none 02:00 32 0 7 12 (NNE) 442 ptly cldy none 03:00 32 -2 10 7 (N) 432 ptly cldy none 04:00 32 -3 14 6 (N) 424 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
