We had a thunderstorm at that time so I delayed in restarting it until the weather improves. It was a rather frustrating first half weather-wise. We had storms heading our direction from Las Cruces and west of Alamogordo, as they approached us, the would dissapate. Then we had clouds to our east and west with a small band between them, where APO was located, along with a storm over El Paso also heading towards us. With all of the rain this weekend and the end of monsoons, even thouogh it was clear a lot of the time overhead, the nearby clouds and radar returns I felt made it just a little too risky to open. By 23:30 the clouds finally moved over us with radar returns coming towards us from El Paso. We gave up around 05:30 due to clouds and weather.
