Started taking data around 7:30pm once it got dark enough. Did a USB restart of the all sky at the start of the night. Thin, but annoying clouds rolled in around 4am. It was a beautiful night with nearly perfect weather, and no telescope or instrument problems ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:34 ecamera 528( 382) 44 37 13.2 15.6 15.1 15.1 13.4 ND4 1.17 20:35 ecamera 397( 178) 18 58 13.1 14.4 14.3 13.8 13.1 clear 0.91 01:17 arctic 426( 1220) 11 53 13.0 12.5 13.2 12.4 13.0 BG40 0.87 05:04 arctic 379( 1144) -94 52 12.7 11.9 12.6 11.8 11.9 SDSS_r 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 43 6 308 (NW) 287 mstly clr none 17:00 61 38 7 302 (WNW) 254 mstly clr none 18:00 61 43 12 288 (WNW) 314 mstly clr none 19:00 58 45 5 260 (W) 295 clear none 20:00 56 44 7 311 (NW) 339 clear none 21:00 55 46 5 272 (W) 362 clear humid 22:00 57 44 1 232 (SW) 377 clear none 23:00 57 44 2 211 (SSW) 360 clear none 00:00 56 45 5 197 (SSW) 348 clear none 01:00 56 43 3 202 (SSW) 321 clear none 02:00 55 42 4 262 (W) 309 clear none 03:00 56 40 2 216 (SW) 275 clear none 04:00 55 44 2 232 (SW) 374 ptly cldy none 05:00 54 46 1 304 (NW) mstly clr none 06:00 56 41 1 335 (NNW) 371 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
