While trying to focus gmech for the pointing model, the mirror covers may have been misbehaving. Light was not getting to arctic or the guider until I opened and closed the mirror covers at low altitude. Collision interlock went on but it cleared itself. It did not need to be pushed off the interlock switch. I just had to release the red button. Engineering tasks done: zeroed NA2 rotator ecam focused and updated mask 20 point pointing model tert remapping - highly repeatable exact values - see engineering email for more Thank you to Russet and Amanda and Jack for answering all my questions and helping troubleshoot! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:21 guider 314( 1470) 103 25 18.7 18.6 19.7 18.6 18.4 B 2.03 03:50 guider 314( 1392) 202 58 18.1 17.6 18.5 17.4 17.1 clear 1.31 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 71 41 7 67 (ENE) 1298 ptly cldy lt rain 17:00 82 42 13 212 (SSW) 1274 ptly cldy none 18:00 76 41 5 242 (WSW) 1199 ptly cldy none 19:00 72 41 8 125 (SE) 1224 ptly cldy none 20:00 70 38 16 147 (SSE) 1209 mstly clr none 21:00 69 38 19 133 (SE) 1127 mstly clr none 22:00 69 35 20 157 (SSE) 1081 mstly clr none 23:00 67 34 22 132 (SE) 1237 mstly clr none 00:00 66 36 21 129 (SE) 1291 mstly clr none 01:00 66 36 16 129 (SE) 1230 ptly cldy none 02:00 66 30 17 142 (SE) 1036 ptly cldy none 03:00 66 29 15 167 (SSE) 843 mstly clr none 04:00 63 36 14 153 (SSE) 1036 clear none 05:00 64 30 11 176 (S) 945 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
