All-sky needed more than a software re-start at the beginning of the night. Cary came back out and restarted the camera. Also, dataq was not running. The s/w stop/start approach was successful. Motion errors occurred in Alt while getting some standard stars at end of the KOSMOS time (00:30). Took several slews / init / stop cycles to clear. Encountered mostly while slewing downward, but occurred in both directions. The weather conditions were good all night. No other telescope issues. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:05 kosmos 650( 1763) -3 40 20.0 22.3 22.3 21.4 20.5 - 1.60 02:04 arctic 534( 1657) -17 48 19.9 19.4 20.4 19.5 19.6 CUVR 1.27 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 76 43 23 263 (W) 991 mstly clr none 17:00 76 39 14 260 (W) 841 mstly clr none 18:00 73 35 7 275 (W) 763 mstly clr none 19:00 73 34 6 274 (W) 749 mstly clr none 20:00 70 30 3 271 (W) 734 clear none 21:00 68 27 3 312 (NW) 587 clear none 22:00 69 30 3 214 (SW) 649 clear none 23:00 70 29 5 214 (SW) 660 clear none 00:00 69 36 8 217 (SW) 867 clear none 01:00 69 35 10 183 (S) 858 clear none 02:00 68 33 11 182 (S) 872 clear none 03:00 65 36 10 151 (SSE) 868 clear none 04:00 67 27 6 188 (S) 708 clear none 05:00 68 22 8 184 (S) 622 clear none 06:00 67 23 5 181 (S) 645 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
