We had all the critical parts ready before sunset, but the weather was iffy so we delayed openinng for a little while. After that, the weather was very meh, with radar threatening but mostly not arriving. All programs got some time on sky and lost some other time; all programs got useful data from one (1) target. At 5 am we had a few rain sprinkles, and then as soon as it was too late to get one more exposure before twilight, the sky improved rapidly. Special thanks to both Amanda and Torrie, who helped with some of the frantic recovery and APOLLO observing, and welcome to Tim McQuaid, our newest obs-spec on his first exciting night of training! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:52 khigh 300( 1222) 85 70 16.7 17.6 17.5 17.4 16.6 - 0.86 01:17 ecamera 383( 240) 168 65 16.5 16.2 16.6 15.9 15.9 Clr 0.91 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 78 48 13 240 (WSW) mstly cldy none 17:00 72 44 5 260 (W) 740 mstly cldy none 18:00 70 42 10 264 (W) 695 mstly cldy none 19:00 69 44 6 282 (WNW) 634 ptly cldy none 20:00 64 43 4 263 (W) 683 ptly cldy none 21:00 63 48 5 137 (SE) 748 mstly cldy none 22:00 61 48 2 37 (NE) 940 ptly cldy none 23:00 62 48 3 100 (E) 922 mstly clr none 00:00 62 48 3 157 (SSE) 789 ptly cldy none 01:00 62 49 7 180 (S) 786 ptly cldy none 02:00 61 49 7 182 (S) 739 ptly cldy none 03:00 62 48 7 189 (S) 857 mstly clr none 04:00 61 48 8 181 (S) 792 mstly cldy none 05:00 62 48 10 194 (SSW) 773 mstly cldy lt rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
