My observer then needed to get dome flats and hung Kosmos when he aborted the running darks. It was a quick fix of just restarting the Nubs and re-connecting the dev. Motion error alt 73.3 alt going down @ 07:09:18. This appeared to also have caused a dome collision. When I investigated the collision tab was close to the button but not depressed. Maybe it bounced off? The stop button was tripped on the intermediate level. I thought perhaps I had forgot to set the counterweight but it was set correctly when I checked. My 2nd half observer TUI was showing all ? for Kosmos status. He was running TUI 3.1.8 Linux. I issued a status all and it fixed his problem. My TUI was not showing any issue, even prior to the status update. 01:43 I decided it prudent to close the telescope due to radar returns with possible approaching precipitation. Rain sensor went off at 04:45 but nothing significant came. I gave up at 05:50 under cloudy skies. No telescope issues tonight that were not resolved. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:20 kosmos 378( 1320) 201 59 16.5 17.9 17.9 17.7 16.4 -- 1.19 01:06 kosmos 378( 1173) 299 83 15.5 15.0 15.6 14.9 15.0 -- 0.97 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 41 4 149 (SSE) 646 ptly cldy none 17:00 68 43 7 176 (S) 637 mstly cldy none 18:00 66 43 11 186 (S) 740 mstly cldy none 19:00 64 42 15 147 (SSE) 772 ptly cldy none 20:00 63 40 13 149 (SSE) 810 ptly cldy none 21:00 62 38 19 131 (SE) 678 ptly cldy none 22:00 62 37 19 142 (SE) 678 cloudy none 23:00 61 41 21 137 (SE) 937 cloudy none 00:00 60 40 20 148 (SSE) 914 mstly cldy none 01:00 60 40 15 159 (SSE) 942 cloudy none 02:00 59 41 13 171 (S) 929 cloudy none 03:00 59 43 16 153 (SSE) 877 cloudy none 04:00 58 44 12 114 (ESE) 824 cloudy lt rain 05:00 57 46 8 119 (ESE) 942 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
