As soon as B-half hit, one singular cloud decided to come in and just sit over us, of course blocking all science targets. We gave up trying to see through the cloud at 2:20am and I closed up. We called it a night at 4:45am. No telescope or instrument problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:43 arctic 591( 1508) 1 34 14.3 14.7 15.6 14.3 14.0 SDSS_r 1.55 21:22 arctic 505( 1387) -10 33 13.9 14.0 14.9 13.8 13.8 SDSS_r 1.46 01:16 ecamera 474( 129) 3 63 12.2 11.8 12.5 11.9 11.9 clear 0.88 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 40 9 77 (ENE) 904 ptly cldy none 17:00 64 41 16 80 (E) 885 ptly cldy none 18:00 63 43 20 78 (ENE) 987 ptly cldy none 19:00 61 44 14 89 (E) 1023 mstly clr none 20:00 59 45 16 90 (E) 1039 clear none 21:00 58 45 18 77 (ENE) 1024 clear none 22:00 57 43 19 82 (E) 937 clear none 23:00 56 40 17 89 (E) 843 clear none 00:00 54 40 17 85 (E) 805 clear none 01:00 54 40 19 81 (E) 815 mstly clr none 02:00 54 41 8 82 (E) 971 mstly cldy none 03:00 54 41 1 211 (SSW) 869 cloudy none 04:00 54 41 1 77 (ENE) 989 cloudy none 05:00 53 42 4 120 (ESE) 972 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
