Since kosmos is down, I was hoping that we could give some echelle time to NM02 but the weather wasn't cooperating. We had rain, clouds, virga and then a bit of a gap with high humidity and clouds from the east that I didn't trust. Then more clouds and light rain. I called it at 5am. We were not able to do the kosmos engineering tasks and the dome wasn't cool enough for echelle focus. I spent an embarrassing amount of time with the tertiary remap. Turns out I kept doing the same typo over and over. I...eventually sorted it out. Then I was struggling with wiki format so I worked on my teaching write up. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 50 18 82 (E) mstly cldy rain 17:00 63 46 8 92 (E) 990 mstly cldy rain 18:00 69 50 5 197 (SSW) 1365 ptly cldy none 19:00 65 47 1 169 (S) 931 ptly cldy none 20:00 61 50 11 126 (SE) 1058 ptly cldy none 21:00 60 47 11 131 (SE) 1480 mstly clr none 22:00 60 45 11 127 (SE) 1187 mstly clr none 23:00 60 45 15 134 (SE) 1795 ptly cldy none 00:00 59 47 11 175 (S) 2133 cloudy none 01:00 61 46 16 134 (SE) 2185 cloudy none 02:00 59 50 13 151 (SSE) 2586 cloudy lt rain 03:00 58 49 14 165 (SSE) mstly cldy lt rain 04:00 59 46 11 159 (SSE) 1094 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
