NICFPS failed at checkout again, had to reconnect and restart the ics. Dataq plots had also stopped, with PMSS offline. Power cycled PMSS from tron and restarted dataq. Dust hovering around 6000 counts in 1-micron for most of the night, but it finally dropped and we opened a little before 04:00 and got on sky for the end of the night. All-sky camera froze around sunset, thank you Cary for coming in to fix it again. KOSMOS ccd temp start of night 190, end of night 180. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:05 arctic -100( 1213) 49 39 19.4 19.1 21.7 18.8 18.8 SDSS_z 1.42 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 83 32 12 261 (W) 6291 mstly clr dust 17:00 83 33 8 262 (W) 5052 mstly clr dust 18:00 78 31 8 262 (W) 3653 mstly clr dust 19:00 78 29 9 260 (W) 4406 mstly clr dust 20:00 73 28 12 216 (SW) 5466 mstly clr dust 21:00 72 32 12 194 (SSW) 5579 mstly clr dust 22:00 72 29 15 180 (S) 5784 mstly clr dust 23:00 68 38 16 153 (SSE) 5449 clear dust 00:00 70 31 8 180 (S) 7497 mstly clr dust 01:00 66 38 8 182 (S) 5700 mstly clr dust 02:00 65 37 2 176 (S) 5733 mstly clr none 03:00 64 33 3 176 (S) 5696 clear dust 04:00 67 27 1 203 (SSW) 3450 clear none 05:00 67 24 10 296 (WNW) 3351 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
