Motion error right after inst change to echelle on first slew, downward in the east at about 73 alt 04:04. A little bit of marginally high dust at the start of the night but we didn't open because we were doing in-dome cals, not due to the weather. We also had thin clouds blowing through most of the night. Otherwise good weather and we were able to observe all night! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:12 arctic 264( 1209) -77 55 10.7 11.4 11.7 11.4 10.6 CUVR 1.03 21:51 arctic 400( 1286) -84 47 10.0 10.1 10.8 9.9 9.8 CUVR 1.08 02:07 arctic 274( 1106) -46 36 9.0 8.8 9.5 8.7 8.9 CUVR 1.40 03:30 arctic 237( 1039) 40 31 8.8 8.1 8.7 7.8 8.5 CUVR 1.42 04:10 ecamera 302( -15) 85 46 9.1 7.9 8.6 7.9 8.3 ND2 0.99 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 8 18 253 (WSW) 2407 mstly clr none 17:00 60 7 23 267 (W) 3198 mstly clr none 18:00 56 7 20 267 (W) 2914 mstly clr none 19:00 56 5 19 265 (W) 3283 mstly clr none 20:00 52 1 18 258 (WSW) 2993 mstly clr none 21:00 51 2 19 266 (W) 3391 mstly clr none 22:00 50 1 16 286 (WNW) 2353 mstly clr none 23:00 50 2 15 276 (W) 2195 mstly clr none 00:00 50 2 17 295 (WNW) 1861 mstly clr none 01:00 50 2 19 313 (NW) 1739 mstly clr none 02:00 49 2 12 311 (NW) 1858 mstly clr none 03:00 48 6 13 324 (NW) 2032 clear none 04:00 48 5 18 311 (NW) 1896 clear none 05:00 48 5 9 305 (NW) 2029 mstly clr none 06:00 47 5 8 278 (W) 1868 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
