We were finally able to open around 2:30am. Restarted Alcor computer. Had a negative focus value when we first opened for echelle, which I found odd. I also had to disconnect and exit TUI due to a probable internet flicker. Guider images were not updating. No telescope/instrument problems tonight. Though the kitchen sink did back up, which was an ordeal. Thanks Ben for coming to the rescue! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:49 ecamera -35( -362) 215 58 7.0 7.9 10.4 7.6 6.9 clear 1.45 04:32 tcamera 337( 1170) 88 61 5.8 6.0 7.3 5.9 5.7 -- 1.14 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 65 15 32 226 (SW) 24574 clear dust 17:00 63 13 34 236 (SW) 65915 clear dust 18:00 60 10 31 235 (SW) 181739 clear dust 19:00 58 8 41 219 (SW) 150607 clear dust 20:00 56 6 32 238 (WSW) 104302 clear dust 21:00 54 4 22 262 (W) 80705 clear dust 22:00 52 2 26 268 (W) 48780 clear dust 23:00 48 6 18 262 (W) 21028 clear dust 00:00 46 9 14 275 (W) 8096 clear dust 01:00 45 9 18 256 (WSW) 4129 clear dust 02:00 45 8 23 245 (WSW) 3797 clear none 03:00 44 9 15 266 (W) 3263 clear none 04:00 43 9 18 271 (W) 3239 clear none 05:00 42 9 17 265 (W) 3200 clear none 06:00 42 9 15 264 (W) 3046 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
