However, the storms to the east blow out and brought dust, forcing us to close for a couple hours. But then the wind shifted and we were able to reopen! The winds starting picking up around 4 am but didn't cause an issue or increase in dust, though it brought some thin clouds with it. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:28 kosmos 287( 1242) 66 52 12.4 13.8 13.8 13.2 12.9 -- 1.00 02:11 khigh 238( 1068) 29 66 11.5 11.3 12.0 11.4 11.2 -- 0.91 04:19 tcamera 304( 1328) 72 70 9.9 10.2 10.9 10.2 10.1 Ms 1.23 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 15 23 213 (SSW) 1417 clear none 17:00 64 15 14 237 (WSW) 1961 clear none 18:00 62 14 15 218 (SW) 1408 clear none 19:00 60 10 14 223 (SW) 1526 clear none 20:00 54 6 15 203 (SSW) 1558 clear none 21:00 55 7 15 208 (SSW) 2321 clear none 22:00 56 8 21 209 (SSW) 3255 clear none 23:00 56 10 23 200 (SSW) 3312 clear dust 00:00 54 7 23 198 (SSW) 5069 clear dust 01:00 53 18 22 187 (S) 4206 clear dust 02:00 52 14 18 191 (S) 2661 clear none 03:00 51 11 20 214 (SW) 2445 clear none 04:00 52 8 23 212 (SSW) 1596 clear none 05:00 50 9 22 233 (SW) 1539 mstly clr none 06:00 50 8 19 204 (SSW) 1204 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
