Once the dust cleared the clouds became super thick. Opened just before 2:30am. UW02 gave up early due to more clouds rolling in, so we started NM10 a little early. Once the weather more or less cleared, it was a quiet night with no problems. No morning echelle iol since cals were being taken. Also, it was Zeus's (my new dog) first night at the observatory! He did such a good job and was such a good helper! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:44 kosmos 237( 1136) -75 26 11.9 12.1 13.3 12.0 11.8 -- 1.70 03:21 ecamera 400( 275) -5 21 10.9 11.5 12.5 11.3 11.3 clear 2.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 12 14 281 (W) 6915 ptly cldy dust 17:00 61 12 35 269 (W) 20438 mstly cldy dust 18:00 59 13 22 256 (WSW) 6188 mstly cldy dust 19:00 58 13 20 271 (W) 5355 mstly cldy dust 20:00 57 12 22 264 (W) 4964 cloudy dust 21:00 56 11 16 273 (W) 4350 cloudy dust 22:00 56 11 19 277 (W) 3222 cloudy none 23:00 56 11 13 273 (W) 2615 cloudy none 00:00 55 11 18 293 (WNW) 2437 mstly cldy none 01:00 55 11 12 273 (W) 2307 ptly cldy none 02:00 54 12 17 291 (WNW) 2271 mstly clr none 03:00 53 12 14 291 (WNW) 2072 ptly cldy none 04:00 52 14 12 290 (WNW) 1880 ptly cldy none 05:00 52 13 7 266 (W) 1976 ptly cldy none 06:00 53 13 8 262 (W) 2013 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
