But then the dust started climbing and just stayed over the limit. That is until NM06 logged in and it plummeted!! Probably because they are about to be a new Ph.D :) The seeing was good and we were able to observe for all of NM06's time. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:39 klow 250( 992) 104 49 9.1 9.2 9.7 9.0 8.8 -- 1.31 03:55 kosmos 300( 917) 71 65 6.5 6.8 7.7 6.7 6.3 -- 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 27 8 258 (WSW) 2385 mstly cldy lt rain 17:00 59 31 14 218 (SW) 2402 mstly cldy lt rain 18:00 50 29 17 282 (WNW) 5735 ptly cldy none 19:00 48 32 2 244 (WSW) 5310 mstly clr none 20:00 47 31 13 57 (ENE) 3339 mstly clr none 21:00 48 27 1 128 (SE) 3401 clear none 22:00 46 26 6 238 (WSW) 3520 clear none 23:00 47 29 6 244 (WSW) 3920 clear none 00:00 46 30 5 246 (WSW) 4124 clear dust 01:00 46 30 7 251 (WSW) 5138 clear dust 02:00 45 30 9 224 (SW) 4715 clear dust 03:00 46 30 10 262 (W) 5678 clear dust 04:00 44 31 11 237 (WSW) 2204 clear none 05:00 44 30 9 245 (WSW) 1966 clear none 06:00 45 29 11 263 (W) 2815 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
