Thanks Bill for helping with fixing other dataq issues. Checked Arctic shutter, it was in fact stuck open, which explains Jack's problem from the other night. I reset it. Took an object exposure to exercise the shutter, and then took another bias and the bias levels are still really low with the UL quad being the darkest. High dust counts at start of night kept us from opening. Opened just before 10pm but had to close at around 10:45pm because of more dust. Stayed closed the rest of the night. Gave up around 6:35am. Outside optidew sensor has been stuck at 100% for the entire night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:13 klow 375( 814) 99 63 2.3 2.9 3.3 2.8 2.3 -- 1.03 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 -2 15 216 (SW) 4263 clear dust 17:00 43 -4 19 203 (SSW) 3554 clear dust 18:00 41 -5 13 198 (SSW) 4208 clear dust 19:00 38 -5 14 194 (SSW) 5214 clear dust 20:00 36 -6 15 184 (S) 4890 clear dust 21:00 36 -7 20 206 (SSW) 3497 clear dust 22:00 36 -6 15 194 (SSW) 3564 clear none 23:00 36 -5 18 207 (SSW) 4517 clear dust 00:00 37 -5 15 210 (SSW) 5127 clear dust 01:00 37 -5 14 250 (WSW) 4564 clear dust 02:00 38 -5 19 263 (W) 5121 clear dust 03:00 37 -5 16 263 (W) 5969 clear dust 04:00 37 -5 17 274 (W) 6047 clear dust 05:00 37 -5 20 301 (WNW) 5409 clear dust 06:00 36 -5 15 321 (NW) 4522 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
