We could see banding of the atmosphere in the Tspec slitviewer which was really cool! CU07 donated 10 minutes to CU04. Clouds were too thick to observe through, and I closed up at 9:40pm and remained closed the rest of the night. Gave up around 5:30am. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:00 tcamera 390( 1429) 104 77 8.2 10.5 10.3 10.0 8.8 -- 2.00 20:42 NICFPS 309( 1487) -10 51 8.5 7.9 8.5 7.9 8.1 H2_2.12 0.91 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 6 15 223 (SW) 1251 ptly cldy none 17:00 51 8 18 249 (WSW) 1124 mstly cldy none 18:00 47 7 15 226 (SW) 1216 mstly cldy none 19:00 47 8 15 218 (SW) 1403 mstly cldy none 20:00 47 9 9 257 (WSW) 1265 mstly cldy none 21:00 47 10 11 248 (WSW) 1157 cloudy none 22:00 48 9 17 265 (W) 1050 cloudy none 23:00 48 8 14 270 (W) 976 cloudy none 00:00 47 9 11 262 (W) 987 cloudy none 01:00 46 9 12 258 (WSW) 1081 cloudy none 02:00 45 9 17 229 (SW) 1085 cloudy none 03:00 45 11 13 255 (WSW) 1127 cloudy none 04:00 44 10 13 246 (WSW) 1065 cloudy none 05:00 44 11 13 262 (W) 1177 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
