Beautiful weather at the start of the night. I opened the dome at 4:00pm to start venting. Had to reboot dataq/strip chart computer since everything froze. Got it back up and running though after a little bit of troubleshooting. Overall it was a quiet night! No morning IOL since echelle cals were being taken. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:10 ecamera 383( 135) -8 44 8.3 9.3 9.5 8.8 8.5 ND3 1.13 20:14 ecamera 351( 37) -150 45 8.5 8.0 8.6 8.1 8.2 ND3 1.07 23:20 APOLLO 301( 1770) -87 36 8.9 7.9 8.4 7.8 8.2 -- 1.20 00:23 ecamera 279( -32) -78 48 8.8 8.1 8.5 8.2 8.6 ND5 0.93 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 6 21 238 (WSW) 904 clear none 17:00 52 8 26 243 (WSW) 1019 clear none 18:00 47 7 22 253 (WSW) 853 clear none 19:00 46 14 17 245 (WSW) 1029 clear none 20:00 48 12 19 264 (W) 822 clear none 21:00 48 12 15 259 (W) 965 clear none 22:00 47 13 21 244 (WSW) 878 clear none 23:00 48 13 13 232 (SW) 735 clear none 00:00 47 13 15 244 (WSW) 780 clear none 01:00 47 14 18 266 (W) 673 clear none 02:00 47 12 19 265 (W) 680 clear none 03:00 46 11 13 273 (W) 696 clear none 04:00 45 9 14 277 (W) 754 clear none 05:00 47 5 19 291 (WNW) 685 clear none 06:00 46 -1 25 302 (WNW) 635 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
