You need to set it to 2x2 binning before starting and things work fine. At least it didn't hang the camera just the exposure failed. At the start of the 2nd program the ARCTIC filter got lost, rot angle was at 2 deg. Homing the filter wheel fixed the issue. It again got lost right at the end of observations.
