I thought things were good, but then we had some orographicc clouds forming over us during B half it was making it impossible to see faint targets. Thankfully, they cleared enough to catch a few of the brighter ones. The echelle seemed a little low at dawn (239) and it was filled to 282 in the afternoon. I went ahead and gave it 20 lbs of LN2 "just in case..." ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:38 kosmos 260( 742) -31 51 4.7 3.7 4.1 3.4 3.8 -- 1.19 22:44 kosmos 310( 786) 95 64 5.0 3.8 4.4 3.8 4.0 -- 1.44 07:27 kosmos 360( 938) 104 80 6.8 6.0 6.5 6.1 6.1 -- 1.23 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 -8 13 268 (W) 391 mstly clr none 17:00 40 -7 9 270 (W) 535 mstly clr none 18:00 40 -7 11 276 (W) 493 mstly clr none 19:00 39 -4 9 290 (WNW) 583 mstly clr none 20:00 41 1 2 344 (NNW) 494 mstly clr none 21:00 41 -1 4 17 (NNE) 523 mstly clr none 22:00 41 -4 8 340 (NNW) 402 mstly clr none 23:00 42 -1 15 310 (NW) 419 mstly clr none 00:00 43 2 16 309 (NW) 284 mstly clr none 01:00 43 1 10 294 (WNW) 309 mstly clr none 02:00 44 1 14 306 (NW) 265 ptly cldy none 03:00 44 5 12 338 (NNW) 294 ptly cldy none 04:00 44 14 7 345 (NNW) 306 ptly cldy none 05:00 44 14 13 13 (NNE) 263 mstly clr none 06:00 44 19 11 359 (N) 241 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
