We had a good clear spot for a little while at the start of the night, but by the time I felt comfortable opening, we only got 30 minutes on sky before radar got too close. Kosmos internal cals looked wrong, see PR 2266. Weathered out for the majority of the night. Gave up at 4am. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:27 ecamera 526( -187) 1 54 3.9 3.9 5.4 4.0 3.8 1.80 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 32 15 186 (S) cloudy none 17:00 39 32 13 188 (S) ptly cldy none 18:00 39 32 17 179 (S) mstly clr none 19:00 40 32 15 155 (SSE) mstly clr none 20:00 39 32 19 180 (S) ptly cldy none 21:00 41 32 16 185 (S) mstly cldy rain 22:00 36 32 21 145 (SE) cloudy rain 23:00 37 32 19 204 (SSW) cloudy rain 00:00 37 31 27 195 (SSW) cloudy rain 01:00 37 32 21 194 (SSW) cloudy rain 02:00 36 21 27 190 (S) cloudy rain 03:00 36 31 13 207 (SSW) cloudy rain 04:00 35 28 33 200 (SSW) cloudy rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
