Not yet as impressive as last night but the night is early! They lasted a couple hours, not nearly as intense tonight and then faded away. 04:38UT we had what looked like a possible bolide meteor on the all sky camera. At least something that made a very bright point like flash in the all sky cam image. Dataq restarted. I think it was running at the start of the night but noticed it was stopped later. 09:15:52 my TUI disconnected. I just re-connected and all was fine. My remote observer had no such issues. Clouds started rolling in a ittle before 02:00AM We finished up at 04:55AM under partly cloudy skies. For some reason the Auto Night Log did not want to read in all of my focus lines tonight. I copied and pasted them. Not sure what the issue was, it read 2 of 3 lines, as I have not noticed this problem before. Will keep an eye on it in the future. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:51 arctic 354( 1087) 65 82 9.2 11.5 10.8 11.3 8.6 CUVR 0.82 17:52 NA2gdr 37814(37814) 65 82 9.0 11.4 10.8 11.9 8.7 R 0.97 00:19 tcamera 479( 1222) -19 57 9.6 8.0 8.6 7.9 9.0 Ks 1.01 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 6 10 248 (WSW) 394 clear none 17:00 50 8 2 248 (WSW) 467 clear none 18:00 48 1 6 309 (NW) 774 clear none 19:00 46 10 7 319 (NW) 2257 clear none 20:00 46 12 3 314 (NW) 2000 clear none 21:00 48 12 3 253 (WSW) 924 clear none 22:00 49 12 3 289 (WNW) 896 clear none 23:00 48 11 8 296 (WNW) 685 clear none 00:00 49 9 8 274 (W) 674 clear none 01:00 49 8 9 290 (WNW) 462 mstly clr none 02:00 50 5 10 280 (W) 345 ptly cldy none 03:00 50 -1 12 312 (NW) 216 mstly cldy none 04:00 49 7 10 322 (NW) 859 ptly cldy none 05:00 49 9 14 307 (NW) 895 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
