Opened at 6:10pm to start venting. Gave slew permissions at 6:52pm and had to wait about 15 minutes for it to get dark enough to focus. Observer finished on sky just after 6am. Some clouds appeared around 9pm, but other than that we had a nice clear night with good seeing! No telescope or instrument problems tonight :) ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:11 ecamera 548( 322) -34 34 13.0 13.9 14.0 13.5 12.9 ND4 0.97 21:30 ecamera 450( 125) 165 57 12.8 12.2 12.8 12.0 12.1 ND2 0.86 01:21 ecamera 384( 33) 323 62 12.6 11.7 12.2 11.8 12.4 clear 0.86 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 41 16 226 (SW) 623 clear none 17:00 61 42 15 235 (SW) 689 clear none 18:00 60 42 16 241 (WSW) 869 clear none 19:00 55 40 14 194 (SSW) 1051 clear none 20:00 55 42 14 209 (SSW) 1101 mstly clr none 21:00 55 42 13 214 (SW) 1294 ptly cldy none 22:00 54 38 9 233 (SW) 869 mstly clr none 23:00 55 34 10 223 (SW) 550 clear none 00:00 54 32 12 217 (SW) 534 clear none 01:00 54 31 10 221 (SW) 491 clear none 02:00 55 28 11 244 (WSW) 480 clear none 03:00 55 27 8 263 (W) 541 clear none 04:00 55 27 6 253 (WSW) 473 clear none 05:00 54 26 7 190 (S) 508 clear none 06:00 52 29 12 136 (SE) 534 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
