With very meh seeing. It took me quite awhile to get kosmos focused up. The temperature was -11 at sunset and, somehow kcam really powered through for 2-3 hours before getting stuck. We were able to use gcam to guide but it just took a little longer to get our targets in the slit since we had to use imaging mode. The azimuth behaved beautifully! No problems whatsoever! I was getting a little twitching during A half. Winds were gusting just under the closure limit but there were no issues. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:35 khigh 235( 120) -2 49 -10.4 -9.0 -8.9 -9.4 -10.3 -- 2.01 00:28 ecamera 275( -845) -112 65 -7.4 -8.9 -8.4 -8.9 -8.2 ND4 1.46 02:36 ecamera 346( -634) 285 59 -4.0 -5.9 -5.5 -5.8 -4.7 ND1 1.32 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 16 -7 5 263 (W) 296 clear none 17:00 14 -8 0 339 (NNW) 347 clear none 18:00 12 -8 13 36 (NE) 272 clear none 19:00 13 -9 12 2 (N) 257 clear none 20:00 17 -18 11 3 (N) 110 clear none 21:00 16 -18 11 26 (NNE) 153 clear none 22:00 18 -24 28 22 (NNE) 97 clear none 23:00 15 -18 25 20 (NNE) 189 clear none 00:00 18 -21 23 22 (NNE) 110 clear none 01:00 22 -27 20 26 (NNE) 88 clear none 02:00 23 -30 5 349 (N) 61 clear none 03:00 26 -27 8 9 (N) 56 clear none 04:00 29 -24 6 10 (N) 41 clear none 05:00 28 -24 9 359 (N) 50 clear none 06:00 29 -21 12 330 (NNW) 63 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
