Following that, the weather conditions were fine until the humidity rose fairly quickly near the end of A Half causing us to close. The humidity finally dropped mid way through B Half with a good trend to trick me into reopening, but the trend reversed within 30 minutes forcing another closing. I finally gave up a bit after 4:00 as this left insufficient time for the faint targets. Once underway, there were no issues with the telescope or KOSMOS. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:53 khigh 250( 1175) 24 52 10.8 12.1 12.2 11.8 10.9 - 1.36 Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 47 1 79 (E) mstly cldy none 17:00 56 47 1 85 (E) 1500 mstly cldy none 18:00 55 46 7 85 (E) ptly cldy none 19:00 53 46 16 79 (E) mstly clr none 20:00 52 46 23 69 (ENE) clear none 21:00 52 44 25 59 (ENE) clear none 22:00 51 44 26 75 (ENE) clear none 23:00 51 44 26 73 (ENE) clear none 00:00 50 43 22 58 (ENE) clear humid 01:00 49 46 24 75 (ENE) clear humid 02:00 50 46 18 75 (ENE) clear humid 03:00 50 45 16 62 (ENE) clear none 04:00 50 46 15 64 (ENE) clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
