One brief encounter with rising dust levels, but that did not persist and we remained open all night. ARCSAT could not open as its weather lockout was active indicating a wet rain sensor. The sensor itself is suspected to be faulty. ARCSAT is intended to do parallel observations with the visiting instrument, so maybe the sensor issue can be resolved soon. After switching over to Tspec and on the slew to the first target (around 05:10), the telescope was commanded up to an alt of about 73 deg and a motion error (in alt) occurred.
