When trying to go from NA2 to BC1, the error is below: telmech.0 0 telmech w RawLine="?CHKMV one or more axes didn't make it (SC<> 001). SC, or 0 if not moved: 000, 000, 000, 000, 008\" It seems the power supply went out on the front of the telescope. Bill and Cary came in to work on it. Thank you both! Temproary fix in place that allows us to operate, but tertiarty, mirror covers, and eyelids must all be rotated/moved manually. We were able to get on sky with great weather and seeing for the last hour of UW05. We were able to get through the BY02 time with nice weather. There was even aurora that showed on the sky cam! BY02 finished at 06:15. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AP01 A T/H 19:22 20:22 Tertiary power supply failure UW05 E T/H 20:22 00:00 Tertiary power supply failure ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:04 ecamera 274( 315) -7 53 15.8 15.6 16.2 15.6 15.6 Clear 0.91 01:43 khigh 274( 1336) -127 57 15.8 15.1 15.8 15.1 15.1 -- 0.98 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 31 3 257 (WSW) 892 clear none 17:00 70 31 7 242 (WSW) 877 clear none 18:00 68 30 10 289 (WNW) 831 clear none 19:00 64 29 8 254 (WSW) 1011 clear none 20:00 62 29 7 190 (S) 994 clear none 21:00 61 29 12 200 (SSW) 1026 clear none 22:00 60 27 12 212 (SSW) 925 clear none 23:00 60 27 16 184 (S) 1186 clear none 00:00 60 28 15 187 (S) 1334 clear none 01:00 60 28 15 206 (SSW) 1042 clear none 02:00 61 27 11 216 (SW) 993 clear none 03:00 60 27 14 224 (SW) 1042 clear none 04:00 59 27 13 187 (S) 962 clear none 05:00 59 27 15 206 (SSW) 947 clear none 06:00 58 26 14 212 (SSW) 808 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
