We struggled with clouds most of the night. There was radar coming up the eastern slopes and around 1am the rain sensor went off. However, there was no rain on the ground so...I'm wondering if it was a false alarm. We closed for a little over an hour to let the clouds pass and then reopened. Seeing remained good and we had clear skies for the rest of the night. Durring checkout the mirror covers needed a reset. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:25 kosmos 220( 1378) 31 53 15.8 17.0 16.7 16.6 16.4 -- 0.72 22:00 ecamera 259( 291) 219 69 15.7 15.6 15.8 15.3 15.3 ND1 0.86 02:48 kosmos 194( 1193) 33 34 14.1 13.4 13.8 13.2 13.5 -- 1.16 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 61 36 5 261 (W) 1151 mstly clr none 17:00 64 35 2 270 (W) 1197 clear none 18:00 64 33 5 244 (WSW) 1221 mstly clr none 19:00 62 34 6 224 (SW) 1171 mstly clr none 20:00 58 33 5 228 (SW) 1178 ptly cldy none 21:00 60 32 4 147 (SSE) 1139 mstly cldy none 22:00 60 32 6 187 (S) 1128 ptly cldy none 23:00 59 32 10 176 (S) 1058 ptly cldy none 00:00 58 32 9 188 (S) 1027 mstly clr none 01:00 58 32 5 182 (S) 1878 ptly cldy lt rain 02:00 58 32 8 188 (S) 2134 mstly clr none 03:00 57 31 7 219 (SW) 1849 mstly clr none 04:00 58 30 7 233 (SW) 1519 clear none 05:00 57 30 5 255 (WSW) 1496 mstly clr none 06:00 57 30 2 234 (SW) 1340 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
