PM lost air for a while, but after relaxation procedure, it is fine. Dataq program was rebooted. Start of night, weather is fine but, we are still on generator power, so we decided it's best to stay closed, both on the 3.5m and arcsat. Opened dome around 2320 with clear weather. Dust counts started going up but the counts inside the dome were well below the limit. No other problems with telescope. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:30 arctic 419( 1668) 92 60 16.6 18.1 19.2 17.8 17.6 SDSS_i 0.91 23:33 NA2gdr -731(37268) 92 60 16.6 17.9 19.0 17.7 17.5 clear 1.30 05:04 tcamera 350( 1600) 247 70 16.4 15.0 15.6 14.7 15.2 Ks 0.78 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 47 1 279 (W) 3407 mstly clr none 17:00 72 47 16 258 (WSW) 3550 mstly clr none 18:00 72 46 11 264 (W) 3250 clear none 19:00 68 45 9 145 (SE) 3202 clear none 20:00 65 45 7 165 (SSE) 3350 clear none 21:00 63 45 7 175 (S) 3657 clear none 22:00 63 45 8 180 (S) 3586 clear none 23:00 63 47 11 183 (S) 3894 clear none 00:00 62 46 12 159 (SSE) 3811 clear none 01:00 61 45 9 141 (SE) 4174 clear none 02:00 60 45 1 168 (SSE) 4195 clear none 03:00 62 47 3 186 (S) 4172 clear none 04:00 63 47 2 210 (SSW) 3980 clear none 05:00 62 47 3 198 (SSW) 4057 clear none 06:00 62 46 2 247 (WSW) 3895 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
