Torrie reviewed some things from yesterday and got some new training too. Unfortunately, none was on sky. We restarted the Alcor computer because the optical all sky camera was frozen. 1-micron dust counts around 5000 counts all night, we were unable to open. Hopefully the wind will shift and blow this dust away soon! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 51 12 77 (ENE) 4415 cloudy dust 17:00 60 49 8 110 (ESE) 4075 cloudy dust 18:00 63 47 1 111 (ESE) 4112 cloudy dust 19:00 67 47 1 206 (SSW) 5349 cloudy dust 20:00 66 44 1 237 (WSW) 5658 cloudy dust 21:00 66 43 5 84 (E) 5663 cloudy dust 22:00 66 43 2 21 (NNE) 5160 mstly clr dust 23:00 65 43 6 349 (N) 5370 mstly clr dust 00:00 64 44 5 350 (N) 5457 mstly clr dust 01:00 64 44 2 5 (N) 5277 mstly clr dust 02:00 63 44 11 64 (ENE) 4667 mstly clr dust 03:00 63 44 5 0 (N) 5060 ptly cldy dust 04:00 62 44 4 355 (N) 5316 ptly cldy dust 05:00 62 44 1 250 (WSW) 5191 ptly cldy dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
