There were thin clouds most of the night, but our big problem was the dust. We got the following error while the observer was running a script to take flats and paused it: arcticExpose f exposeTxt="cannot start a new arctic exposure while another is active" We were able to fix it by hub startNubs arcticExpose, we didn't have to do an init and drop a quad! woohoo! Torrie's first night was just dusty! We didnt open at all, but a lot of new observing specialist training was done nonetheless. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 65 50 2 130 (SE) 5001 mstly cldy dust 17:00 67 50 6 8 (N) 4751 mstly cldy dust 18:00 69 45 6 106 (ESE) 7250 mstly cldy dust 19:00 69 45 10 111 (ESE) 8270 mstly cldy dust 20:00 66 43 12 86 (E) 8327 ptly cldy dust 21:00 65 41 11 92 (E) 6902 ptly cldy dust 22:00 65 40 12 86 (E) 6897 mstly clr dust 23:00 64 42 14 81 (E) 8031 mstly clr dust 00:00 64 42 16 81 (E) 8090 mstly clr dust 01:00 60 45 23 77 (ENE) 6252 mstly clr dust 02:00 59 47 18 69 (ENE) 6439 mstly clr dust 03:00 60 47 12 80 (E) 7442 mstly clr dust 04:00 62 44 2 84 (E) 7382 mstly clr dust 05:00 60 43 6 25 (NNE) 7565 mstly clr dust 06:00 61 44 2 30 (NNE) 7576 mstly clr dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
