Particle counts went up to 60K and winds were reaching 35mph. While the dust and wind calmed down, there were still radar returns and danger clouds around us. About the time it looked like it would clear, another storm came screaming from the north bringing more particles and a lot of humidity, but no rain. Things were only getting worse as the night progressed and we called it at 4:30am. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 39 12 90 (E) 914 ptly cldy none 17:00 73 39 14 211 (SSW) 1503 ptly cldy none 18:00 68 39 12 216 (SW) 1451 ptly cldy dust 19:00 57 44 15 1 (N) 55614 cloudy lt rain 20:00 56 44 6 312 (NW) 16498 cloudy lt rain 21:00 61 39 14 172 (S) 2041 cloudy none 22:00 61 34 10 127 (SE) 869 mstly cldy none 23:00 62 38 15 142 (SE) 1570 mstly cldy none 00:00 61 40 15 133 (SE) 2181 ptly cldy none 01:00 58 41 18 87 (E) 2129 mstly clr dust 02:00 55 42 15 85 (E) 5092 mstly clr dust 03:00 51 45 15 90 (E) 5256 clear dust 04:00 50 47 12 84 (E) 4397 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
