CU02 had a new observer sitting in for the PI and they were able to get all their data after a little bit of training. We had excellent seeing until the wind shifted, but even then it wasn't too bad. No clouds and we observed until twilight! No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:52 ecamera 389( 621) 189 78 18.5 20.1 19.8 19.2 18.8 ND3 0.69 23:44 ecamera 347( 396) 63 65 16.1 16.0 16.6 15.8 15.9 Clear 1.25 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 74 40 10 262 (W) 1037 clear none 17:00 74 39 10 264 (W) 1016 clear none 18:00 72 36 12 266 (W) 1213 clear none 19:00 69 37 5 264 (W) 1342 clear none 20:00 67 40 8 256 (WSW) 1390 clear none 21:00 65 41 8 237 (WSW) 1437 clear none 22:00 61 45 16 151 (SSE) 1147 clear none 23:00 61 45 18 162 (SSE) 1430 clear none 00:00 61 45 13 172 (S) 1675 clear none 01:00 62 44 17 177 (S) 1671 clear none 02:00 62 44 11 184 (S) 1931 clear none 03:00 60 46 8 201 (SSW) 2066 clear none 04:00 58 46 11 152 (SSE) 2726 clear none 05:00 60 45 8 195 (SSW) 2799 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
