Eyelids would open via remote control but not the covers. A thunderstorm and a little rain around 19:00. It was cloudy most of the night, we had a few sucker holes appearing after around 3:30ish. From looking at the satellite things were still looking pretty dicey to open just yet, especially since this system had precipitation in it earlier, so I held off until I felt more comfortable. I finally was able to open at around 04:30. I got an alt motion error on my initial slew (at 74.5 deg, it was at 75deg). I power cycled the drives and that cleared the issue. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:54 tcamera 79( 1447) 57 49 17.0 17.2 18.2 17.0 17.1 Ks 0.79 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 76 43 6 181 (S) 880 ptly cldy none 17:00 72 43 1 236 (SW) 926 mstly cldy none 18:00 72 47 12 181 (S) 1867 cloudy lt rain 19:00 70 49 1 206 (SSW) 1508 cloudy lt rain 20:00 65 44 10 54 (NE) 1162 cloudy none 21:00 67 44 6 95 (E) 998 cloudy none 22:00 67 47 15 131 (SE) 1404 ptly cldy none 23:00 66 48 12 183 (S) 1576 mstly cldy none 00:00 63 49 7 180 (S) 1754 cloudy none 01:00 65 48 13 170 (S) 1834 cloudy none 02:00 63 48 12 171 (S) 1480 cloudy none 03:00 62 46 8 182 (S) 1447 mstly cldy none 04:00 62 46 6 185 (S) 1567 ptly cldy none 05:00 64 48 5 188 (S) 2648 ptly cldy none 06:00 63 48 5 188 (S) 2294 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
